When purchasing a property with trees on or near it, the mortgage provider or insurance company may require a tree report to assess the likelihood of any trees or woody vegetation causing damage to the property. This damage can occur through direct physical contact from the tree either above or below ground or by indirect influence on the soil causing subsidence damage.
Our report will record all trees within influencing distance of the property and assess their likelihood to cause damage. This will take into account the species of tree, the distance of the tree to any buildings and the soil type and condition. The trees will also be assessed for their safety and recommendations for work will be given.
